Ingredients:
1 1/8 cups tomato juice
2 tbs. evol
1 tsp. sugar
3 tbs.chopped fresh basil or 1 tbs. dried and crushed
3 cups unbleached flour
1 1/2 tsp. fast acting teast- bread machine yeast
Directions:
1. pre heat oven to 3758f.
2. bake pockets for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown.
3. these pockets go good with lamb fillings. Italian and middle eastern-flavored cheese or meat fillings work well.
4. can substitute mint for basil.
