Ingredients:
42 ounce(s) crushed tomatoes |
4 cup(s) chicken broth |
14 basil leaves |
1 cup(s) heavy cream |
1/4 pound(s) butter |
salt and pepper to taste |
1 tbsp lemon juice |
Directions:
1. Simmer these together over medium heat for 30 min. Puree in small batches in blender or food processor with 14 basil leaves or if you have one of those hand held blenders. Return to pot. 2. Add heavy cream,butter, salt and pepper to taste and lemon juice. 3. Heat through, being careful not to boil. |
