Ingredients:
1/2 cup(s) warm water |
1 large egg |
1/2 cup(s) tomato paste |
2 tablespoon(s) vegetable oil |
1 teaspoon(s) salt |
3 cup(s) bread flour |
1 tablespoon(s) sugar |
2 teaspoon(s) dried minced onion |
2 teaspoon(s) dried basil |
1/2 teaspoon(s) garlic powder |
2 teaspoon(s) active dry yeast |
1 large egg |
1 tablespoon(s) water |
coarse salt |
Directions:
1. Prepare dough in Automatic Breadmaker using the dough setting. When the unit signals the cycle is completed, remove dough. Divide dough into 20 pieces. Stretch and roll each not a 15 rope. Place on 2 greased baking sheets. Cover with a clean cloth and let rise for 20 minutes. 2. To make egg wash: combine egg and water in a small dish. Brush each breadstick with egg mixture. Sprinkle with salt. 3. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. 4. Makes 20 breadsticks. |
