One of the favorites in my restaurant. Ingredients:
2 bay leaves |
4 drops tabasco sauce |
5 tablespoons finely chopped onions |
1 teaspoon salt |
7 1/2 cups tomato juice |
4 tablespoons gelatin |
1 1/3 cups cold water |
4 tablespoons vinegar |
Directions:
1. Combine bay leaves, Tabasco sauce, onion, salt and tomato juice. 2. Simmer 10 minutes. 3. Soften gelatin in cold water,. 4. Dissolve in juice mixture. 5. Add vinegar. 6. Strain and Jell. |
