A tasty tomato sauce to go with any white fish. Ingredients:
1 tablespoon olive oil |
1 onion, chopped |
1 (14 ounce) can chopped tomatoes |
1 teaspoon light brown sugar |
3 sprigs thyme, leaves stripped |
1 tablespoon soy sauce |
4 fillets white fish |
Directions:
1. Heat the oil in a frying pan, add the onion then fry for 5-8 mins until just browned. 2. Stir in the tomatoes, sugar, thyme and soy. Simmer for 5 minutes. 3. Put the fish into the sauce. 4. Cover and gently cook for 8-10 mins until the fish flakes easily. 5. Serve. |
