burgers Ingredients:
475 g pork mince |
1 dash olive oil |
1/2 onion, finely chopped |
70 g tomatoes, chopped |
14 g fresh basil |
1/2 teaspoon chilli powder |
1 teaspoon dried mixed herbs |
1 salt and pepper |
1 tsp lemon juice |
1 egg |
140 g bread |
Directions:
1. Peel, then finely chop the onion and cook 2. in a pan with a little olive oil until soft. Add 3. to a bowl with the pork mince, chilli powder, 4. mixed herbs, zest of the lemon and egg. Whizz two 5. baps in a blender to make breadcrumbs and add to 6. the bowl. Then simply add the chopped semi-dried 7. tomatoes and fresh basil to the mixture. Season with salt and pepper, and combine. 8. Shape into four equal patties. Then griddle for 4-5 minutes on each side, turning every couple of minutes until no pink meat remains and they are piping hot and cooked throughout. Alternatively, try them on the barbecue, turning regularly. |
