8 tomatillos |
3 serrano chilies |
1/2 large sweet onion |
1 small garlic clove |
10 cilantro leaves |
salt |
ground black pepper |
Directions:
1. Remove dry outer skin from the tomatillos. Bring pot of water to boil; add tomatillos and serranos and blanch for 1 to 2 minutes. 2. Drain; then cool under running water. Blot dry. 3. Combine tomatillos, chiles, onion, garlic, and cilantro in blender; process on slow speed until desired consistency is reached. Add salt and pepper to taste. |
