A great tasting cupcake that is a family favorite. The baking is done in two parts. Ingredients:
1/2 c. butter |
6 tbsp. brown sugar |
6 tbsp. sugar |
1/2 tsp. vanilla |
add |
1 egg |
1 c. + 2 tbsp. flour |
1/2 tsp. baking soda |
1/2 tsp. salt |
beat above until thick. |
filling |
1/2 c. brown sugar |
1 egg |
1/8 tsp. salt |
add |
6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips |
1/2 c. chopped walnuts |
1/2 tsp. vanilla |
Directions:
1. Spoon batter into paper lined tins evenly dividing between 12 cupcakes. 2. Bake at 375 degrees for about 10 minutes or until golden. Remove from oven. 3. Spoon filling into each cup equally dividing among cupcakes. Bake 4. again for about 15 minutes. |
