My best friend, Polly shared this recipe with me several years ago. Yum! Always a big hit for potlucks, reunions or family dinners. My daughter begs me to fix meatballs all the time. Cheap easy and DELICIOUS! Ingredients:
2 lbs ground chuck |
1 1/2 cups oatmeal |
1 small onion, diced |
2 eggs |
1 teaspoon garlic salt |
1 teaspoon chili powder |
2 cups ketchup |
2 cups brown sugar |
1 teaspoon garlic salt |
2 tablespoons liquid smoke |
Directions:
1. Meatballs: Mix all the ingredients until well blended. 2. Form into small meatballs or use a Melon Baller place in Pam sprayed 9X13 Baking Dish. 3. Sauce: Mix all the ingredients in a small saucepan bring to a boil. 4. Pour Over Meatballs Bake covered in Foil for 45 minutes. |
