My MIL found this in her local newpaper in Redding California and shared it will all the girls in the family as we all have small kids, especially boys, that are in one stage or another of being Toilet Trained. You all know how that can smell up your bathroom when they miss the toilet as they learn to aim. This also applies to some adults I know...LOL. Quantities are are guesstimates as they did not give amounts. Ingredients:
1/2 cup baking soda |
2 lemons, juiced |
1/4 cup white vinegar, in a spray bottle |
Directions:
1. Mix a paste of baking soda and lemon juice. You want it the consistency of pancake batter. 2. Spread the paste along the bottom of the toilet, where it meets the floor, the toilet seat and any other area that gets alot of overspray. Don't forget nearby walls and/or cupboards. Let it set for 10-15 minutes to dry. 3. After teh 10-15 minutes, spray the dried paste with white vinegar and let it fizzle. Once it is done fizzing wipe it up with a damp cloth. 4. Do this once a week or so and your bathroom will smell fresh! |
