This is a recipe from Prevention Magazine, and is a very delicious alternative to the more decadent chocolate pies out there - not just for vegetarians, but if you want something sweet while trying to lose a few pounds! Keep this pie chilled, because it gets soft at room temperature and can be difficult to serve. Ingredients:
1 graham cracker pie crust |
12 ounces chocolate chips |
3 tablespoons honey |
20 ounces extra firm tofu |
Directions:
1. Stir honey into melted chocolate. 2. Put tofu in food processor and mix until smooth. 3. Add chocolate mixture. 4. Blend well. 5. Pour into pie crust. 6. Chill, serve and enjoy! |
