Fake meatballs made with tofu Ingredients:
1 lb extra firm tofu |
1 small finely chopped onion |
3 tablespoons soy sauce |
2 eggs |
1/2 cup oat bran, breadcrumbs or 1/2 cup crushed cereal |
fresh basil or oregano or other seasoning |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl. Roll into 1 1/2 inch balls. Roll in oatbran or flour and fry in preheated skillet, cooking until slightly to medium brown on all sides. |
