My DM and I make these all the time for my school bake sales and for parties. Such a simply recipe, that is very simple to make, and also very simple to ruin!! Ingredients:
3 cups sugar |
1 cup water |
1/4 cup malt vinegar |
Directions:
1. Place sugar, water and vinegar into saucepan, stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved. 2. Increase heat, boil rapidly uncovered for approximately 15 minutes, or until a small amount, when poured into cold water, will crack or harden immediately. 3. Remove from heat, stand saucepan in cold water for 1 minute. Remove from water, allow bubbles to subside. 4. Pour into paper patty cases. Leave 2 minutes before decorating with coconut, hundreds and thousands, jelly-beans, nuts.etc. |
