Taken from a Recipes + magazine - I have not tried this yet ! Ingredients:
1 cup caster sugar |
2 tablespoons silver cachous |
Directions:
1. Line a baking tray with baking paper. 2. Stir sugar and 2 tblsp of water in a medium saucepan 3. Dissolve sugar over low heat. 4. Bring to the boil then boil without stirring for 6 minutes or till golden brown. 5. Pour toffee onto tray, tilt tray to spread thinly. 6. Sprinkle with cachous, cool for one hour to set. 7. Break into shards. |
