The tasty combination of cranberries,chocolate chips and toffee is wonderful. Ingredients:
1c butter,softened |
3/4c sugar |
3/4c packed brown sugar |
1 egg |
1tsp vanilla |
11/2c flour |
11/2c quick-cooking oats |
1 tsp salt |
1c dried cranberries |
1c miniature semisweet chocolate chips |
1c english toffee bits or almond brickle chips |
Directions:
1. In a large bowl,cream butter and sugars till light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Combine flour,oats,baking soda and salt;gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in cranberries,chocolate chips and toffee bits. 2. Shape into three 12 logs;wrap each in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 2 hours or till firm.Unwrap and cut into 1/2 slices. Place 2 apart on ungreased baking sheets. 3. Bake at 350 for 8-10 mins or till golden brown. Remove to wire racks to cool. |
