An almost-flourless (but wheat-free), intensely rich stunner of a cake made with Toblerone and butter, guaranteed to be a hit at the next Christmas party of chocoholics! Ingredients:
7oz (200g) milk chocolate toblerone |
2oz (50g) dark chocolate |
7oz (200g) unsalted butter |
5 eggs |
2 tablespoons buckwheat flour |
Directions:
1. Butter and flour a round or heart-shaped cake pan.. 2. Pre-heat oven 375°F. 3. Melt the 2 chocolates with the butter until a smooth consistency is reached. 4. Combine the eggs, one by one, with the melted chocolates. Carefully mix after each egg. Add flour and mix thoroughly. 5. Pour the batter in the cake pan, bake for 25 minutes. 6. Remove from the oven, un-mould and let cool on a rack. |
