I found this recipe on a Velveeta recipe card. I have not tried this recipe, but I'm posting this for safe keeping. Ingredients:
6 1/2 ounces tuna, drained and flaked |
6 1/2 ounces velveeta cheese, sliced and cubed |
1/4 cup chopped celery |
1 hard-boiled egg, chopped |
1 tablespoon chopped onion |
kraft real mayonnaise |
6 slices white bread, toasted |
tomato, slices |
Directions:
1. Combine tuna, 1/4 pound Velveeta, celery, egg, onion and enough mayonnaise to moisten; mix lightly. 2. Cover toasted bread slices with tuna mixture; top with tomato. 3. Bake at 350, 5 minutes. Top with additional sliced cheese; continue baking 5 minutes or until cheese begins to melt. |
