TOASTY ONION PINWHEELS This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Vettle Estate in Terrell, Texas in 1996. Ingredients:
1 can refrigerated crescent rolls |
1 can fried onion rings |
1 teaspoon leaf sage crumbled |
1/2 teaspoon seasoned pepper |
Directions:
1. Open refrigerated crescent rolls following label directions onto wooden board. 2. Unroll each half into a rectangle then press perforations together. 3. Sprinkle onions over dough dividing evenly then sprinkle sage and seasoned pepper over top. 4. Roll up jelly roll fashion from short end then arrange on top of bubbling casserole. 5. Bake at 375 for 15 minutes. |
