I don't know why these are called Toasted Ravioli when they are in fact fried. Ingredients:
frozen cheese ravioli, thawed |
flour |
salt and pepper to taste |
eggs |
bread crumbs, 1/2 italian seasoned and 1/2 panko |
parmesan cheese |
oil for frying |
Directions:
1. Heat oil to 350 2. Preheat oven to 200 3. Set up dredging station, one bowl with flour seasoned with salt and pepper, one bowl with beaten eggs and the last one with a combo of both breadcrumbs 4. Dip ravioli in flour, then egg and lastly breadcrumbs 5. In batches, drop carefully into oil and cook on both sides until golden brown 6. Set on baking rack placed on baking sheet keeping warm in oven until all are cooked...Make sure to sprinkle with a little kosher salt as soon as they come out of the oil. 7. Shave Parmesan cheese over top of ravioli 8. Serve with your favorite Marinara sauce for dipping 9. ~~Optional dip would be a garlic butter sauce~~ |
