Healthy vegetarian food Ingredients:
ingredients |
2 cups quinoa |
4 cups water or chicken stock |
1 tsp salt |
1 cup toasted almonds |
2 green onions |
Directions:
1. Rinse Quinoa ,then dry in paper towel 2. In pot, toast Quinoa, stirring constantly over medium heat for 2 minutes 3. Add water ( or stock)..Bring to boil,then cover,at low heat simmer for 12 minutes,or until liquid is absorbed. 4. Remove from heat( do not stir) 5. Just before serving add toasted almonds and green onions. |
