Bring out the rich nutty flavour of your walnuts, pecans and other nuts by toasting them in a warm oven. Just cool and add to your favourite recipes. Ingredients:
1/2 cup walnuts or 1/2 cup pecans |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. 2. Spread the nuts out in a pie pan. 3. Bake 5 to 8 minutes, stirring once. 4. Nuts burn easily, so watch them carefully. 5. Cool before using. 6. Toasted nuts can be stored in an air tight container for about 2 weeks. |
