Got this recipe off a local shop. I usually use stranded coconut. Can use other dried fruits and add more nuts. Half sugar and honey for a 'healthier' version Ingredients:
1/4 cup honey |
1/4 cup oil |
1/4 cup brown sugar |
3 cups oats |
1/2 cup desiccated coconut |
1/2 cup natural bran |
1/2 cup sesame seeds |
1/2 cup sunflower seeds |
1/2 cup slivered almonds |
1 cup raisins |
Directions:
1. Gently heat honey, oil and sugar. 2. Preheat oven to 150°C. 3. Combine all ingredients except raisins and roast in oven for 30-40 minutes. 4. Cool and add raisins. |
