I threw these together based on the flavors of italy. Ingredients:
1 lb pepperoni |
1 lb salami |
1 lb mortadella |
1 lb ham |
1 lb provolone cheese |
2 cups shredded lettuce |
1 medium sliced tomato |
2 cups banana pepper rings |
1/2 cup mayonnaise |
1/2 cup sour cream |
1 teaspoon lemon juice |
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/2 teaspoon oregano |
4 hoagie rolls |
Directions:
1. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, garlic powder and oregano; mix well. 2. Spread garlic mayo thickly on buns. 3. pile on meats and cheese and top with banana peppers. 4. toast under broiler for 3-5 minutes with oven door cracked watching closely. 5. top with lettuce and tomato. |
