Great vegitarian Club Ingredients:
6 flat pita bread rounds, halved horizontally and toasted |
1 (7 ounce) container hummus |
4 romaine lettuce leaves |
1 large tomato, sliced |
1 yellow sweet pepper, seeded and sliced |
1/2 of a english cucumber, sliced |
2 ounces feta cheese, crumbled |
1/4 cup oregano leaves |
1/4 cup greek salad dressing |
Directions:
1. Spread 8 pita halves with hummus. 2. Layer four of the spread slices with romaine, tomato,and sweet pepper slices. 3. Top with four spread pita halves, hummus side up. 4. Layer Cucumber, feta cheese and fresh oregano. 5. Drizzle with Greek dressing. 6. Top with remaining pita halves. 7. Serve with home made chips! |
