Toasted Almond Crab Spread |

This is a great spread for those upcoming holidays. It's super easy to make, looks and tastes very good Ingredients:
1 pkg(8 ozs.) softened cream cheese |
1 1/2 cups(6 oz.) shredded swiss cheese |
1/3 cup sour cream |
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg |
1/8 tsp pepper |
1 can (6 oz.) crabmeat, drained,flaked and cartilage removed(use fresh crab if you can) |
3 tblsps finely chopped green onions, divided |
1/3 cup sliced almonds, toasted |
assorted crackers |
Directions:
1. In a mixing bowl, combine the first five ingredients. 2. Stir in the crab and 2 tblsps. onions. 3. Spread into an ungresed 9-in. pie plate 4. Bake at 350* for 25 minutes or until heated through. 5. Sprinkle with almonds and remaining onions. 6. Serve with crackers. |
