Another recipe my grandmother brought with her from England. This Yorkshire pudding hails straight from the county Surrey (not Yorkshire) Ingredients:
1 lb sausage |
2 eggs, beaten thick |
1 cup milk |
1 cup flour |
salt |
1 tablespoon melted margarine |
Directions:
1. Bake sausages until 1/2 way done. 2. Place in a greased 9 x 15 pan. 3. Beat eggs. 4. Add Milk. 5. Mix dry ingredients and add. 6. Mix in melted butter. 7. Beat well. 8. Chill 30 minutes in the fridge. 9. Heat the pan and add sausage drippings. 10. Pour over sausages in pan. 11. Bake 400F 20 minutes Lower heat to 350 and bake 10 mins more. |
