To Die for Oatmeal Chip Cookies |

I am not sure what it is that made these such a hit with my picky daughter but she LOVES these cookies. I added butterscotch chips to the recipe and it seemed to add to the already great taste. Ingredients:
1/2 cup margarine |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
1/2 cup white sugar |
1 large egg |
1 tablespoon water |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla |
3/4 cup flour |
1 pinch salt |
1 1/2 cups quick-cooking oatmeal |
1 cup chocolate chips |
1 cup butterscotch chips |
Directions:
1. Cream sugars and margarine together; add egg. 2. Dissolve soda in water. 3. Add to dry ingredients. 4. Add chips. 5. Mix well. 6. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls on ungreased sheet. 7. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes. |
