Tita Cels Almost Corned Beef |

My tita cel (Gos rest her soul) taught me a great way to serve corned beef without the preservatives. Ingredients:
1 kilo of beef kenchi (but other prefer brisket) |
3 whole onions, diced (set aside half for sauteing) |
3 whole garlic, cut into cloves and crushed (set aside half for sauteing) |
a stalk of parsley and celery |
freshly ground pepper |
5 tbsp. fish sauce (malaysian brand is good) |
cubed potatoes |
2 tbsp oil |
Directions:
1. in a pressure cooker, mix all ingredients together with just enough water to cover the kenchi beef. (except for half of the onions and garlics and cubed potatoes) 2. Pressure-cook the beef and ingredients until tender or flaky. 3. Once soft, drain the beef. 4. In a wok, put in oil and sautee remaining onions and garlics. 5. add in potato cubes 6. Add in the drained beef and sautee. 7. serve with scrambled eggs. |
