By no means a healthy recipe, but if you need to increase your calories to make up for a low day, this is the one! Ingredients:
12 oz tomato paste |
16 oz tomato sauce |
16 oz crushed tomatoes |
1 lb ground beef |
1 lb breakfast sausage |
1/2 tsp garlic powder |
1/2 tsp onion powder |
1/2 tsp salt |
1/2 tbsp sugar |
1/2 tsp parsley |
1/2 tsp basil |
1 tsp minced garlic |
1/2 medium onion |
10 oz spaghetti |
Directions:
1. Cut breakfast sausage. 2. Brown breakfast sausage and ground beef together. 3. Add tomato paste (2 6oz cans), sauce (2 8oz cans) and crushed tomatoes (16oz can?). 4. Add garlic powder, onion powder, garlic, salt, sugar, parsley, basil, onion, and bring to a light boil. 5. Reduce heat, cover, simmer for 30-45 min. 6. Boil spaghetti. 7. Serve together. |
