All the flavors of Tiramisu without the fuss. Ingredients:

1 1/2 sticks butter, unsalted and softened |
3/4 cup brown sugar, packed |
1 can evaporated milk |
1 can sweetened condensed milk |
8 oz. mascarpone cheese |
5 eggs |
4 oz. espresso, brewed |
5 oz. kahlua |
1 tsp. vanilla |
sauce |
1/4 stick butter |
3 tbls. sugar |
1 oz espresso |
2 oz. kahlua |
garnish |
whipped cream |
cocoa powder |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350 2. Melt 1/2 stick of butter in saucepan over medium low heat 3. Add brown sugar 4. Stir constantly until sugar is dissolved and caramelized 5. Pour into bottom of 2 qt. casserole dish 6. In mixing bowl, put in 1 stick butter, evaporated milk, condensed milk, mascarpone cheese, eggs, 3 oz. espresso, 3 oz. Kahlua, and vanilla 7. Mix with hand mixer until smooth 8. Pour mixture over caramelized sugar 9. Put casserole dish into a 13x9 pan and add 1 inch of water 10. Bake 80-90 minutes 11. Let cool and refrigerate to chill 12. Sauce 13. In saucepan, melt butter and add sugar 14. Add 1 oz. espresso, and 2 oz. Kahlua 15. Bring to boil, then remove from heat 16. Let stand to thicken 17. Invert onto serving dish 18. Pour sauce all over top 19. Garnish with whipped cream 20. Dust with cocoa powder |
