Heaveny Italian dessert . Ingredients:
2 l eggs, separated |
1/2 cup sugar |
6 oz mascarpone cheese |
1/2 cup heavy cream |
1 c brewed expresso, cooled |
2 tbsp wine |
4 ladyfingers |
4 heaped tbsp bittersweet chocolate or cocoa pwd |
Directions:
1. Whip the cream . Mix 2 oz cheese gently in and set aside ( CHILL ) . 2. Beat the yolk and 1/4 C plus 1 tbsp sugar until pale and mix in 4 oz cheese . Set aside . 3. Beat the whites with the remaining sugar until stiff . Fold into the cheese mixture . 4. Mix the expresso and wine together . 5. Take 4 small glass serving bowls . 6. Dip the ladyfinger inside the wine and arrange at the bottom . 7. Scoop the cheese mixture in now . 8. Scoop the whipped cream in a cone and swirl it on top . 9. Dust with cocoa pwd . 10. Chill for few hours and serve within a day . |
