Tickle-The-Tongue Grilled Steak |

I love marinades and this is one of my favorites. We're talking tender, juicy and flavorful. I have only used flank steak for this one but I suppose any other good steak could be used. Ingredients:
2 tablespoons oil |
3 tablespoons soy sauce |
1 teaspoon lemon rind |
2 tablespoons lemon juice |
1/4 cup pineapple juice |
2 teaspoons sugar |
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
1 medium onion, sliced |
1 garlic clove, minced |
1 teaspoon unseasoned meat tenderizer |
1 1/2 lbs flank steaks |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients except flank steak (a gallon-sized freezer storage bag works perfect). Mix well. Add whole flank steak and refrigerate, turning often, for at least two hours. The longer the better. 2. Grill on high (gas grill) 4 minutes each side for medium-rare. Be careful to not overcook as it will toughen the meat. |
