Since I love to cook in Chili and Barbeque contests I came up with this recipe sometime in 2006 for a Barbeque contest. I came up with it for pulled pork that year. Ingredients:
1 cup ketchup |
1 cup light brown sugar |
1/3 cup teriyaki sauce |
1/3 cup worcestershire sauce |
1/3 cup tia maria |
1/2 tablespoon cumin |
1/4 cup honey |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients in a medium size saucepan and heat on medium. 2. Slowly bring the liquid to a boil, stirring all the time. 3. Reduce the liquid amount by 1/4 or until it reaches the thickness you like. |
