Thyme and Citrus Marinade |

I have this giant Thyme Plant in my garden that never dies. I use it as inspiration to come up with new recipes that use this fragrant herb. This marinade is great with shrimp, scallops, meaty fish, and chicken. Ingredients:
2 garlic cloves, minced |
1 tablespoon thyme leaves |
1/4 teaspoon black pepper |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/3 cup orange juice, fresh squeezed |
1 teaspoon orange zest |
2 tablespoons lemon juice, fresh squeezed |
1 teaspoon lemon zest |
2 tablespoons olive oil |
Directions:
1. Whisk together all ingredients and use as a marinade. |
