Three Step Saucy Chicken Dinner |

This recipe sounds good and easy too! I haven't made this yet so I'm not sure about the cooking times. Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter, divided |
4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves, chopped in 1-inch chunks |
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder |
1 (4 ounce) can mushrooms, undrained |
1 cup peas |
4 cups egg noodles, cooked and drained, kept hot |
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Heat 1/4 cup butter in large skillet. 2. Add chicken and garlic powder. 3. Cook 4 mimnutes. 4. Stir in remaining 1/4 cup butter, mushrooms, and peas. 5. Cook 2 minutes or until chicken is cooked through. 6. Stir in hot cooked noodles and cheese until cheese is melted. 7. Season to taste with salt and pepper. |
