Beth Hensperger Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups water |
2 tablespoons sunflower oil |
1 1/2 cups bread flour |
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour |
3 tablespoons nonfat dry milk powder |
2 tablespoons brown sugar |
1 tablespoon gluten |
1 teaspoon salt |
2 teaspoons fast rising yeast (or 2 1/2 t. bread machine yeast) |
1/3 cup raw sunflower seeds |
2 tablespoons sesame seeds |
2 teaspoons poppy seeds |
Directions:
1. Add the ingredients, except for the seeds, in the pan according to the order in the manufacturer's instructions. 2. Set crust on medium and program for the Basic or Whole Wheat cycle; press Start. 3. When the machine beeps, or between Knead 1 and Knead 2, add all the seeds. 4. When the baking cycle ends, immediately remove the bread from the pan and place it on a rack. 5. Let cool to room temperature before slicing. |
