From our church cookbook Ingredients:
1 cup sugar |
1 cup oatmeal (regular or quick) |
1 cup flour |
1 cup bran buds |
1 cup sour milk or 1 cup buttermilk |
1 cup raisins (soft boil for 1-2 minutes, drain) |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1 egg, beaten |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients together and bake in loaf pan at 350 for about 1 hour. |
