In 'The Big Book of Appetizers' by Meredith Deeds and Carla Snyder Ingredients:
3 ounces creme de menthe |
6 ounces creme de cacao |
6 ounces bailey's irish cream |
6 ounces vanilla vodka (or plain vodka) |
12 ounces half-and-half |
semisweet chocolate shavings, for garnish |
Directions:
1. Mix the creme de menthe, creme de cacao, irish cream, vodka, and half-and-half in a pitcher and freeze for 1 hour. 2. Chill 6 martini glasses in the freezer for 30 minutes. 3. For each drink, shake a little more than 5 ounces of the mixture in a shaker with ice and strain into the chilled glasses or serve over ice in short glasses. 4. Garnish with chocolate shavings, if desired. 5. Make-ahead: this can be made up to 8 hours ahead and kept in the refrigerator. |
