Depending on your own taste add less or more garlic and birds eye chili. You may make it less thick by adding more water. Serve with cooked rice or e.g. with avocado salad. Ingredients:
1 -2 tablespoon olive oil |
2 -4 garlic cloves, minced |
4 -6 dried birds eye chili |
1 onion, sliced and diced |
400 g beef, chopped |
3 teaspoons soy sauce |
70 g tomato paste |
1 tablespoon ground black pepper |
1 teaspoon dried basil |
50 -100 ml water |
Directions:
1. Saute minced garlic and ground bird eye chili beans in the pan with the olive oil. 2. Add sliced and diced onion and saute a while and add more olive oil if needed. 3. Add beef to the pan and saute meat a while until brown. 4. Add soy sauce and tomato paste. 5. Add water. Check how thick the sauce is. Add more water if you want make it thinner. 6. Add ground black pepper and basil and check seasoning. 7. Simmer for about 15 minutes. Add water if needed. |
