Thick Hamburger Stew (Crock Pot) |

Got this from my Canadian parenting site. Poor man's stew :) It's still nice and thick, but used hamburger instead of more expensive cuts of meat. Ingredients:
1 lb lean hamburger |
1 (8 ounce) can tomato soup |
1 (8 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup |
1 onion, diced |
1 teaspoon garlic |
1 teaspoon celery seed |
3 carrots, peeled and sliced |
3 potatoes, peeled and cubed |
1/2 cup water |
cornstarch, if necessary |
Directions:
1. Brown hamburger. 2. Combine all ingredients and place in crock pot. 3. Cook on low for 8 hours. 4. If you want thicker gravy add a little corn starch. |
