This will bring a warm feeling over you. I enjoy snuggling up on the couch while I eat this. Ingredients:
1 lb deer roast |
1 tbl. salt |
1 tbl. pepper |
1/2 tbl. garlic powder |
1/2 tbl. onion powder |
1/2 cup flour |
1/4 cup vegetable oil |
1 1/2 beef bouillon cubes |
2 1/2 cups water |
8 ounces thick egg noodles, homemade egg noodles work the best |
Directions:
1. Cut meat into cubes. 2. Add flour to a large ziplock baggie. Sprinkle salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder over meat. Add meat to flour and cover meat well. 3. Heat a large stock pot with oil over medium heat. Cook 1/2 of the meat at a time in the hot oil. When removing the first batch of meat, do not drain on a paper towel. Lay on a plate or in a bowl. 4. Once all the meat is cooked add back to the stock pot and add water and bouillon cubes. 5. In a medium pot, cook the pasta till it is half done, drain and add to meat mixture. 6. Cover and continue over a medium, low heat for about 20 minutes. If you like more broth add more water. |
