This recipe is easy to prepare in the Thermomix. I usually do it early in the day so that the dough has time to rise several times - which leads to a better texture. But if you're pressed for time, the dough can be made right before use. Ingredients:
280 g water |
1 tablespoon yeast |
20 g olive oil |
2 teaspoons salt |
1 teaspoon oregano |
500 g flour |
Directions:
1. Place the water, yeast, oil, salt and oregano into the Thermomix bowl. Mix for 5 seconds/speed 3. 2. Add the flour Mix 6 seconds/speed 8. 3. Set dial to closed lid position. Knead the dough for 2 minutes/interval speed. 4. Transfer dough to an oiled bowl and allow to rise until double - 45 minutes. 5. Punch down and allow to double again - 45 minutes. 6. Divide the dough into four balls and let rest for 15 minutes. 7. Form the pizzas and add favorite toppings. 8. Bake at 400 degrees F for about 12 minutes, or until browned. |
