I don't know who Thelma is - but this recipe is a fantastic and easy crowdpleaser and wonderful for family gatherings! Ingredients:
1 boneless skinless salmon fillet |
4 sheets puff pastry |
16 ounces ricotta cheese |
10 ounces spinach, chopped (fresh or frozen) |
5 ounces mushrooms |
1 teaspoon nutmeg (muskatnuss) |
1 egg |
salt, pepper |
Directions:
1. Roll out pastry dough. 2. Saute mushrooms with a little oil. 3. Blend spinach, ricotta, salt, pepper, nutmeg and cooled mushrooms. 4. Put salmon on half of the pastry, and spread with ricotta mixture. Cover with second half of pastry. 5. Prick surface and brush with beaten egg. 6. Bake 35-40 min in 375 F oven. |
