I came up with this while trying to watch my calories/fat...It's pretty yummy as a starter to dinner...making you start to fill up before you dig in to your main course...enjoy! Ingredients:
16 ounces white button mushrooms, sliced (or any other kind) |
5 -6 cups water |
2 1/2 tablespoons mushroom bouillon (i use better than bouillon brand) |
3 green onions, sliced |
pepper |
1 teaspoon minced garlic |
1 small bay leaf |
1 teaspoon madeira wine |
Directions:
1. Put all of the above into a pan - bring to boil - then simmer for 1 hour or longer. |
