The World's Greatest Peanut Butter Cookies |

I found this recipe in the book Chockful of Chips (compiled by Peggy Seemann) and I make it every time I need a peanut butter fix! Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter |
1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter |
1/2 cup sugar |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
1 egg |
1 cup flour |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips |
Directions:
1. Preheat Oven to 325°F. 2. Cream butter and peanut butter. 3. Gradually add sugars and cream until blended. 4. Add egg (if doubling, add one at a time) and beat until smooth. 5. Sift together flour and soda and add to creamed mixture. 6. Stir in chocolate chips. 7. Drop from a teaspoon onto a greased baking sheet. 8. Slightly flatten cookie dough with back of spoon. 9. Bake for 15 minutes. |
