To make simple syrup, combine equal amounts of sugar and water in a small saucepan; bring to a boil. Cook 1 minute or until sugar dissolves, stirring occasionally. Simple syrup keeps for up to 2 weeks in an airtight container in the fridge. Ingredients:
1/2 cup el tesoro tequila blanco |
1/4 cup del maguey san luis del rio mezcal |
6 tablespoons fresh lime juice |
6 tablespoons simple syrup |
2 teaspoons pomegranate molasses |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients; stir with a whisk. Strain through a cheesecloth-lined colander into a bowl. |
