Perfect for anytime, mayonnaise-free so it doesn't spoil fast! This recipe has made the men in my life (who had sworn off cabbage from their diets) actually crave coleslaw. It's true.
Ingredients:
1 medium yellow onions, chopped or 1 medium sweet onion
1 cup sugar
2/3 cup white vinegar
3 teaspoons poppy seeds
2 teaspoons dry mustard
2 teaspoons salt
2 cups canola oil
Directions:
1. Place all ingredients in blender and blend for 1 minute.
2. Store tightly capped in fridge and chill overnight
3. Before tossing with slaw, shake well.
