The Ultimate Swiss Chard Recipe

This is the greens recipe my family can't wait for me to make. The greens could be chard, kale, or any hearty green. The cheese choice can be your favorite.
Ingredients:
2 to 3 large bunches of swiss chard or other tough greens.
4 oz slab bacon
2 onions, sliced
4 oz sliced mushrooms
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 cup 10% cream
1 tbs worchestershire sauce or soy sauce
1/4 cup cheese (your choice)
Directions:
1. Rinse the greens well to remove any grit and dry well.
2. Remove and dice the tough stalks.
3. Slice the leaves into strips
4. Dice the bacon into lardons (little chunks)
5. In a large saute pan or wok saute the bacon over a medium high heat until almost cooked.
6. Add the onion and diced stalks and cook until translucent.
7. Add the garlic and saute until fragrant.
8. Add the mushrooms and worchestershire sauce cooking until almost done.
9. Add the leaves and stir well cooking until wilted.
10. Lower the heat to medium low.
11. Add the cream and cheese (I like parmesan or cheddar) stirring until well blended in the pan.
12. Continue cooking until the sauce thickens a little.
13. Salt and Pepper to taste.
