This is a super simple, taisty and versitile bread that is great as a pizza base of as a stuffed bread twist. Ingredients:
4 cups flour |
1/3 cup oil |
1 tsp sugar |
3 tsp yeast |
3/4 to 1 cup water (just above body temp) |
Directions:
1. Put the Water, 1/2 of the Flour and the Yeast into a bowl and stand in your how water closet or similar place for 30 min to rise. 2. Once this has risen add the remaning Flour, Sugar and Oil and kneed well. 3. Form the dough into a ball and lightly coat with Oil then return to the hot water closet to doubble in size. Aproximatly 90min. 4. Once risen punch down and roll out to the size of your pizza dish and prebake at 220*C for 5min or untill it is begging to turn golden. 5. Remove pizza base and top with your faviorate toppings and bake at 220*C for aproximately 15-20min. |
