The Realtor's Blue Moon Ice Cream |

There are many different theories about how this famous ice cream should be made. Nobody knows for sure because the recipe has always been secret. This is my version. I don't know if it's an exact duplicate but we love it this way. When you're finished, it should be sort of the color of smurfs so add food coloring until you acheive smurf blue. I use 40 drops. Splenda lovers- this will not turn out the same with splenda. I love it and sometimes I use it anyway but it does NOT give the same creamy consistency as regular sugar does. I don't know why but it just doesn't. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups milk |
1 1/2 cups heavy cream |
3/4 cup granulated sugar |
2 teaspoons vanilla extract |
1 teaspoon raspberry extract |
40 drops blue food coloring |
Directions:
1. Stir all of the ingredients together. Stir until sugar disolves. Pour into your ice cream freezer and proceed according to the directions for your ice cream maker. Don't tell anyone you're making it. They'll totally inhale this and you won't get any. Hide it!
